Preparation

The goal of this workshop is to get to know each other and begin discussions of our collaborative research goals. To that end, we ask PIs to prepare to share/discuss 3 main topics:

  • 10-minute introduction to the research team, and the research questions that bring you together and connect you to the Developing Belief Network.

  • 10-minute description of your research sites & associated religious/supernatural beliefs to which children are exposed. Pictures encouraged!

  • Preliminary thoughts on why your research site is a good place to study our  primary research questions (https://www.developingbelief.com/research) and more broadly the diversity of religious & supernatural thinking to facilitate collaborative research discussions. No need for formal preparation here, we will ask you to share in the context of informal breakout discussions.
